Attire: Official WGTB Outfit. GREEN WGTB shirt, solid black pants. NO SHORTS, solid black socks and shoes

Specific Directions: This is a percussion ensemble festival. We will be playing for some world-class percussionists & colleagues of Brenda. Each group will play 1 or 2 songs (depending on time) and then one of the “judges” will come up on stage and talk/work with us to give us some info on how we could play better.

Notes: We always sound better when we have all our players. We really want to have everyone on this gig so the judges can evaluate us at our best.

The festival will start around 9 am. Local Jr High and High School groups will be performing starting then. I encourage you to have your Beaters listen to some groups in the morning before our performance, especially if the school they are planning to attend is performing. I will post the performance schedule as soon as I get it.

There will be clinics by the judges in the afternoon. You are invited and encouraged to attend those as well. This is an opportunity for you and your Beaters to watch different styles of percussion they may never have another chance to see.

Everyone can get into the morning and the Drum Circle for FREE.

Performers get into the afternoon for FREE. Everyone else will need to pay.

The WGTB teachers will not be supervising after we finish packing up. Parents who can’t stay for the afternoon may want to make arrangements with other families to watch their kids.
