Winter Drums Championships

Address: One of the gyms at Clovis North High School. 2770 E International Ave., Fresno

Arrival Time at Location: Any time between 4pm-10pm

Performance Time: Performances are continuous throughout the night. Jr. Highs go on starting at 4pm.

Notes: This is the final performance of a percussion competition called San Joaquin Valley Color Guard & Percussion Review (SJVCGPR). We will NOT be playing. This is a very popular style of percussion in the Jr. Highs and High Schools. All the CUSD schools have groups playing. Some of the FUSD schools have groups. There are many county schools who participate as well.

I encourage you to bring your Beaters to watch this style of percussion. We have many WGTB graduates as well as current players performing that night.

COST: There is a cost to attend. I’m not sure of the exact prices but around $10. I’ll let you know once I find out

This is the best date to watch the groups at their best. If you absolutely cannot make it to the finals, there are some other dates you can attend.

All performances happen in one of the gyms and start around 4pm. All events cost money to enter.

Parents will need to arrange for supervision of their Beaters.
