We are always so grateful for you incredible WGTB parents who jump in to help us have fun and successful events!

During Summer Drum Camp we have three sessionsMorning (9:15-11:45 am), Afternoon (1:15-4:45 pm), and Evening (5:15-8:45 pm). Each session needs two helpers at our “Command Post” and one helper who is a “Floater” – able to help in classrooms or other tasks as needed. We also need a family to step up each day and provide and prep lunch and dinner for the camp staff (17 people, 34 servings total each day).

Daily Meal Details

  • Each day we need enough food to feed 17 people lunch and dinner (total of 34 servings).
  • Prepped food needs to be delivered to our “kitchen” on-site by 11:30 each day. For the pizza on Friday, we’d like lunch delivered by 11:30 and dinner delivered by 4:30pm.
  • We will have a refrigerator and ways to keep food warm/reheat food available as needed.
  • Contact Becky Field if you have specific questions or needs for your meals.

MONDAY

DIY Pasta Bar – two or three kinds of pasta (noodles, penne, rotini, etc.); red sauce & cream sauce; grilled chicken, meatballs, parmesan cheese

TUESDAY

DIY Sandwiches – turkey, ham, and roast beef; sliced bread and sandwich rolls (including gluten-free option); sandwich toppings like lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, avocado; sandwich condiments/sauces. 

Wednesday

DIY Mexican Spread – beef or turkey taco meat, shredded or grilled chicken, tortillas, tortilla chips, taco toppings like shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions, salsas/hot sauces and sour cream. Optional rice & beans.

Thurdsay

DIY Burger Bar – buns (including gluten-free option); beef hamburger patties (+ a few “impossible” hamburger patties for our resident vegans); sliced cheese options; burger toppings like lettuce, sliced tomatoes, pickle chips, onions; condiments/sauces.

FRIDAY

PIZZA! – One-topping pizzas are great. Pepperoni, All-cheese, Sausage, all good options.
