These FREE worksops are intended for anyone moving up to Beyond the Beat, currently in Beyond the Beat, and anyone already in Secondary who would like a head start in reading. We will be learning some basic ideas such as time, rhythm, scales, reading in a key signature, feeling what you read, how to practice, and more to prepare your beater for the next level of advanced musicianship. Everyone must bring a binder with page protectors, basic hand exercises (CLICK HERE FOR PRINTABLE PDF) a pencil, paper to take notes, and eagerness to learn!
If you are moving up to BTB, plan on being at these workshops. You may feel left behind at camp if you don’t!
Heads up, I may request some people participate in recording sessions MONDAY NIGHT for any new camp songs. I’ll keep everyone updated for this.
