Every year, DCI (Drum Corps International) hosts a showcase for their tour in Central California. This year it will be taking place at Lamonica Stadium (Clovis High). Drum Corps is an activity where musicians 15-21 audition for a marching band like ensemble, and each corps selects the best of the best. If you want to see a snippet of this, CLICK HERE!
Tickets are $25 each. HOWEVER, if we have 20 people, we can buy group tickets making everyones cost go down to $15 a ticket not including extra fees. Please fill out soon so I can know ASAP if I need to buy these tickets!
If you are in drumline and you’re in town, this is a mandatory experience!!! It’s incredibly importnant to expose yourselves to this activity to become inspired! The show goes until 10pm, and it’s incredibly important to stay the WHOLE TIME to watch the best groups and experience the body shaking chills from 150 people playing so incredibly together.
When in the warm-up schedule, it is important to remember that nobody knows where the corps will warm up, so as a group we will have to find the corps equpiment truck and assume it’s somewhere around that.Text me (Roman) if you need to find your beater for any reason. Beaters MUST walk the warm-up lots with Roman.
