TECH REHEARSAL Job Descriptions

SIT WITH ROOKIES/SECONDARY: We need four parents to be available to sit with the beaters during Tech Rehearsal on Thursday to keep them focused, quiet, and on task. This will help us keep rehearsal running smoothly and quickly!

MERCH SETUP: We need two parents to help set up the merch shop in the lobby during Tech Rehearsal.

BIG SHOW Job Descriptions

SIT WITH ROOKIES/SECONDARY/BEYOND THE BEAT: this year, the beaters will be sitting in the front three rows of the auditorium when they’re not on stage, so they can enjoy the performance with the rest of us! We need parents to sit with each group and help them remember their concert etiquette (AKA BE QUIET AND RESPECTFUL).

STAGE ATTENDANTS:  we need two parents to be at the ready on either side of the stage to help guide each ensemble file on-stage, and then off-stage back to their seats. You will have a dedicated chair off to the side to sit in for the show.

TICKET TAKERS:  we need two parents to stand at the entrance doors in the lobby and scan/take tickets for the attendees. We use an app to scan the tickets’ QR codes, and can also look up tickets if needed. You will get a quick tutorial on how to scan tickets on provided devices when you arrive… it’s low pressure!

TICKET SALES:  we need one person to be at the Box Office helping with ticket sales to walk-in attendees.

MERCH SALES: This year we’re excited to roll out some super fun new WGTB and BTB merch! We need two parents to help manage the merch table and take payments.

CLEANUP: We need two families to stick around after the show to help clean up the auditorium and the lobby. This should only take about 15 minutes.
