Location/Directions
Park in the parking lot near Mariposa & H Street (see map). Arrive at 5:00 PM at The Kern Street coldisack at Cuckchansi Park. See attached logistics photo. Take your beater to the check-in location on the Map and drop them off once you see Roman, Brenda, or any WGTB parent you know that’s with us.

We Got the Beat is Group B2, Unit 39. Downtown Fresno should have a sign for us in the sea of people.
If you wish to park by the ending point, there will be a trolley system that will be moving from the ending point to the starting point. Please arrive earlier to make the trolley as there will be many people trying to take it.
MAKE SURE YOU ARE HYDRATED AND YOU GO TO THE BATHROOM BEFORE THE PARADE. There will be bathrooms at the end.

We Got the Beat will be playing at the Toys for Tots Drive, served through Glory Bound Ministries at Gaston Middle School. This would be a great opportunity for anyone who has extra Hoodies, Jackets, Shoes, and Produce they want to donate to any of the families participating in this event. Stay tuned for how to bring any of these items.
This event will feature ALL WGTB ENSEMBLES! We will be playing through all of our regular music, PLUS each group will be learning an easy Christmas tune in preparation.

We Got the Beat is participating in the Monthly Art Hop Event outside Warnors Theatre. Art Hop is my personal favorite event that happens in the City of Fresno. It is where amateur artists and established artists meet up to display and sell their work. Creators often sell on the corners or in established art galleries. You can walk up and down Fulton Street, finding people selling things like food, clothes, and custom jewelry, while passing a dance battle or band performing in the street along the way.

We Got The Beat is a non-profit 501 (3) (C) organization run under the umbrella of JazzFresno. WGTB relies solely on donations and fund raising for all aspects of its operation including new equipment purchases, equipment repairs, and travel costs for the students. We are very grateful for the generous support of our local businesses, organizations and families.
We Got The Beat accepts monetary as well as donations of select tangible goods such as snacks & drinks for the children after performances, gift cards for musical equipment/repairs.
