Attire: Any Color WGTB shirt you have! Please wear summer tie dyes if you have them!
Black pants/shorts. You may wear ANY comfortable walking shoe of your choice.

We will line up at the NE corner of Palm & Olive.
The parade takes place on Olive Ave from Roosevelt Ave to Maroa Ave
Your best bet to support our beaters would be to get a group of parents to stand at specific locations. We will be doing standstill performances!

Pick-up will be around Pine & Maroa.

WE START THE PARADE, The Mayor & Grand Marshals will be following us. This is a big deal for WGTB! If you have a church commitment, I’m okay with you arriving at 12:40 latest. Please try to make this one! We will need parents to also volunteer to walk the parade route with us to carry emergency water, hand out fliers, and help watch the long parade of kids. We will not be doing our regular program with our songs, ensembles, & mallets, this will be ALL HAND-HELD DRUMS.
If you’re in the WGTB drumline, you are carrying your marching drum.
The parade route will be a little over 1/2 a mile.
We will be playing a Rio Style Samba, Maracatu Groove with song, Funk Groove, and Drumline Cadence.
