BEYOND THE BEAT PARENT CONTRACT
We Got The Beat and Beyond the Beat need the support and commitment of parents in order to maintain ourselves as a community-based group, providing rich opportunities for the musical and personal growth of the students who make up the membership.

TUITION:
2025/26 Year tuition is $110 per month, or $1,100 for the full year.

REHEARSALS:
Setup for Monday rehearsals is at 4:00 pm.
Regular weekly rehearsals for the "Zoomers" group are Mondays from 4:15 pm to 6:15 pm
Regular weekly rehearsals for the "Boomers" group are Mondays from 6:15 to 8:15 pm

WINTER PERCUSSION:
If your beater joins a winter percussion ensemble, you may opt out of paying tuition from December through April. However, beaters must return to rehearsals by the second week of April.

By signing this parent contract, I agree to:

1. Pay my beater's tuition in a timely manner, as outlined in the participant handbook. I understand if my child needs to leave BTB before the end of the year, I will pay the remaining balance of the yearly tuition at the time of departure.

2. Have my child in the rehearsal room and ready to begin ON TIME for each rehearsal (please read the definition of ON TIME in the contract)

3. Retrieve my child from rehearsals promptly at the conclusion

4. Have my child at gigs at the designated arrival time and pick him/her up promptly after performance

5. Do my best to earn at least $250 towards WGTB/BTB fund-raising

6. Check the WGTB website, the "Remind" or "BAND" apps, and/or my e-mail & texts regularly for BTB communication; at least once a week (Monday practice day mornings on non-gig weeks, or the day before a gig are good choices)

7. Undergo a criminal background check as needed (for anyone who works with the children)

8. Help with the loading and unloading of instruments whenever needed and available

9. Sign up to volunteer when needed and available.

Please complete and sign this form NO LATER than when you bring your Beater to rehearsal on Monday, September 8. No one will be able to participate in our rehearsals after August 31 without a signed contract. Your child needs to sign the contract as well.
