TUITION: Your child has been awarded a scholarship, you or your family will not need to pay for tuition or the WGTB t-shirt for the 25/26 WGTB season. Scholarship will be forfeited and offered to someone else if your child is absent from two consecutive rehearsals & two consecutive gigs. REHEARSALS: Regular weekly rehearsals for the Rookies group are Tuesdays from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Regular weekly rehearsals for the Secondary group are Wednesdays from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm By signing this parent contract, I agree to: 1. Have my child in the rehearsal room and ready to begin ON TIME for each rehearsal (please read the definition of ON TIME in the contract) 2. Retrieve my child from rehearsals promptly at the conclusion 3. Have my child at gigs at the designated arrival time and pick him/her up promptly after performance 4. Do my best to earn at least $250 towards WGTB/BTB fund-raising 5. Check the WGTB website, the "Remind" or "BAND" apps, and/or my e-mail & texts regularly for WGTB communication; at least once a week (Tuesday/Wednesday practice day mornings on non-gig weeks, or the day before a gig are good choices) 6. Undergo a criminal background check as needed (for anyone who works with the children) 7. Help with the loading and unloading of instruments whenever needed and available 8. Sign up to volunteer when needed and available. Please complete and sign this form NO LATER than when you bring your Beater to rehearsal on Tuesday, September 2 (Rookies)/ Wednesday, September 3 (Secondary). No one will be able to participate in our rehearsals after August 31 without a signed contract. Your child needs to sign the contract as well. I agree to allow WGTB to perform and record any music written by me while a member of WGTB/BTB without compensation to me, even after I am no longer a member. I also understand that if the Director gives me permission to rent an instrument for home practice, I will take care of it and will replace anything that breaks while the instrument is in my possession. In addition, by signing I agree to allow free use of my child’s name and photograph for broadcast or print for the public relations activities of WGTB, and to allow WGTB to record and sell recordings on which my child performs without compensation to us. I understand that all negatives, positives and prints are the sole property of WGTB. *I have signed and turned in the Photo Release Form at Camp 2025The child herein named has permission to engage in all activities and field trips conducted by WGTB. In the event that I cannot be reached in an emergency, I hereby give permission to the director of the program or their designee to secure emergency medical service, including transportation and a physician.
